I confess: I've lived in NYC for almost 5 years and I have never been to Staten Island or Governor's Island. Both very different things- but both things I feel like I should have done by now..
I confess: I actually kind of hate warm weather- in an every day sense. I love warm/hot weather when I can sit by a pool, or at the beach or just do nothing, i.e vacation/weekends. But when I have to function in normal life with weather over 70 degrees- I hate it. I seem to be the sweatiest person ever (tmi, I don't care) and I just feel miserable- I'm sticky, gross, usually carrying a million things- I never feel put together while everyone around me does. ugh.
I confess: I took a cab 3 times last week! I know, I know- but with my sinuses acting like crazy pants I just wanted to get home each night, and get home quick. We can count this as emergency situations.
I confess: I now know how to decrypt and rip DVDs to a flash drive. whoops! My boss made me do research it, I swear...
Thanks for the fun link-up Kathy!
geek talk gives me a huge boner so be proud that you learned how to rip DVDs :)

I'm the opposite... I just can't take the cold weather hence moving from CT to FL. However, the easiest way to feel pulled together during those hot muggy NYC summers is to wear a flowy sundress or maxi. Such a pretty and effortless look ;-)
ReplyDeleteI actually love warm weather, but not when it's hot enough to sizzle. Then I just want to stay inside with my air conditioner and a cold drink.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about warm weather. There seems to be no happy medium for the most part...it's either flippin' hot as hell or freezing cold! And I'm so guilty about taking cabs way too often..and really just because I want to get the eff home and not deal with walking in heels haha.
ReplyDeletethat's super handy that you can rip DVD's - i'm jealous!
ReplyDeleteHey Rebekah! That's awesome that you know how to decrypt DVD's! Good Job!! :-) XOXO

Knowing how to decrypt DVD's sounds like a very handy and valuable skill-- I mean, hypothetically speaking, right? ;) I do prefer warm weather to cold weather, but I too am a very sweaty girl. Some girls "glisten;" not me, I soak myself in sweat.

Say what? Decrypting DVDs? I need to learn how to do that!!
ReplyDeleteAnd welcome to the confessional! It's always one big party when you link up with Kathy.

P.S. I'm totally with you on the warm weather/sweaty mess thing! I live on GUAM. It's hot all the damn time. I'm fine in my air conditioned office all day, but once I step out the door for lunch, I'm a frikken puddle!
