Pottery Time! (or Party Time?!)

I don't know about everyone else but I had a great, relaxing, chill weekend. Mostly consisting of cleaning out my DVR... again. And as I said I was going to on Friday I went, along with two friends, to a BYOB painting pottery event. It was super fun and an amazing deal- for $13.99 we were able to choose from two bowls, four mugs or a plate to paint (I picked a bowl). And we got to bring our own alcohol. Below are the works in progress and then what they looked like when we were finished. I will post a picture of the final final outcome once we get everything back in a few days.


step 1: pick a piece of pottery and pour yourself a glass of wine!
step 2: paint, paint, paint- drink, drink drink
The finished projects! So excited to see what they look like once they've been fired...
I also found out some super exciting news from Leah over at Sunshine and Traffic Jams- on Saturday night the boyfriend proposed!! My bestie is getting married-whatwhat?!?! Congratulations to them and I can't wait to see what the wedding planning brings!

And since I actually need to work now- Happy Monday! Daylight savings is already kicking my butt this morning but I'm looking forward to the warmer weather tomorrow- until then..

    Love your bowl!! I want to paint pottery (and maybe drink too). We should totally do this sometime when you come to the sunshine state!!

    This is such a fun idea! Your bowls look awesome. Which one is yours? I love that mug too...so so cute!

    I love this idea!!! I've been to the wine and canvas painting parties but never pottery painting!! Tottttally looking to see if there's one around me :) Can't wait to see the finished products!
