Also my sister (this is the one that just got married) love her to death, but she can definitely have some ditzy moments in life.
Here we go- whatever year this was, I'm vague on the details, it took place on New Year's Day. I had been babysitting the previous night for a family and on the 1st my mother took my sister and I out to De Leon Springs in Florida to this amazing pancake place. (seriously one of the best places, if you are ever in Florida and have an extra day- you should go, it's a pancake place where you make your own pancakes on a skillet built into the table!)
Anyways, now I'm getting sidetracked. We were on our way back home and I was telling my family in the car that the child I had been watching the night before had asked me a very cute question. We had been watching The Heffalump Movie (Winnie The Pooh) when the little girl and she had asked me what a heffalump was. So I explained to her that a heffalump is an elephant, just as rabbit is a rabbit, pooh is bear, tigger is a tiger and Eeyore is a donkey. My sister pipes up from the front seat- Eeyore isn't a donkey. Wait what?
In all seriousness she goes Eeyore is not a donkey. Okay... well what do you think he is? She had some vague answer, my mother and I were laughing hysterically trying to explain to her that yes, in fact, Eeyore is a donkey!
Finally finally finally we convince her that Eeyore is donkey and then, and then she goes- So what are you going to tell me next, Piglet is a Pig?!
It may be one of the best conversations I've ever had with her. I had wanted to include this story in my maid of honor speech for her- but went a different route with a rap. So in honor of her getting married this past Sunday- Rach, this post is for you.
