If I were president...

First off, I'm absolutely positive that I never want to be President of the United States, too stressful, too much work, no privacy. President of 'Nsync Fan Club- I will take. President of Harry Potter Lovers Unite- go ahead and nominate me. President of The Chipotle Everyday group- whoa nelly, pick me-now. President of the grand ole' U. S of A though, no bueno.

So let's just pretend if I was the President of  Harry Potter Lovers Unite. First off I'd make some kick-butt rules, such as the following.

1. Butterbeer and Pumpkin Juice shall be served at every meeting.

2. A sorting hat will put you into you house (Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, or Ravenclaw) at your first meeting.

3. Quidditch will be the club sport- whether you want to play or just observe.

4. Each week we will read a chapter of a book (or two) and discuss how wonderful it is

5. Club dues will go towards a trip to Britain to visit the movie sites and birthplace of Harry.

Rules- check.

Basically it will be a super awesome group of Harry Potter lovers who have read the books more times than they can count- and have seen the movies but know that the books are better and they don't need to have seen the movie to be a fan.

As President I will make promises to have J.K Rowling  attend a meeting of ours, to find original manuscripts (with notes) for each book, and plan an epic trip to Britain to see inspirational sites as well as the cafe where the stories were created.

I don't aspire to much in life, and I in no way need to be President of my country- but President of Harry Potter I shall do.
