I'm going to ooh and ahh some more about the almighty ClassPass I joined a few months ago, mostly bc it's the shit. But it also makes me wish I was loaded which is basically awful because for the most part my life is pretty okay. I have a job, a roof over my head, food on my table, friends and family that care about me, clean water, health insurance, medication when I need it.
This is basically just me saying it would be really freaking awesome if I could afford a FlyWheel membership account because it's the best workout and I only get 3 a month with ClassPass. The place is wicked expensive though and I'm not sure how anyone manages the fee. Seriously. If you thought you paid a lot for your gym, think again. FlyWheel starts at $375/month. A MONTH!
Now on the better things than complaining about gym membership prices..
I went and saw (most of) the cast of Nashville last night in concert with my friend S, and it was amazing. I had been super behind on the show and spent the last two weeks binge watching/catching up and then got to see all of them live. Loved it!!
Summer is right around the corner, and I am so so excited! First off, I think in the 6 years I've lived in NYC this is the first year we have actually had a normal spring. Weather in the mid 50's-70s for a solid month +. Usually its two days of 60s and then summer. not cool. And this summer so many things are happening!! And having extra long weekends all summer is also helpful..
Is it weird that one of the best things about having this new job and getting to leave for work a bit later is that I feel like I actually have time to make my bed in the morning and enjoy doing that? Maybe, but I don't care. It really is nice to come home every night to a nicely made bed and tidy room. Yes mom, you can laugh now.
Now that I've been hitting up this essential oil thing for the past few weeks I'm totally digging it. I've stopped taken Zyrtec for my allergies, had many of the dark spots/acne scarring on my face have started to fade, and am sleeping better at night. I think I pinterest some type of oil thing almost everyday. And most of them smell really good!
Back to the link-up!! Sorry I missed a few weeks.. but I'm ready to get the party started again! Add your favorite song or music video and join in on the fun!
Essential oils for acne scars? you now have my full attention haha
ReplyDeleteyes! They have a few that help with acne and scarring but my favorite is called Frankincense. I've already found a way to use all of my starter oils (and more!) in one way or another- it sounds so crazy but they really do make a difference, and you feel better using something more natural. That doesn't mean I still don't use OTC meds occasionally but using oils has dropped my usage for sure. And the starter kit was worth the money- especially when you sign-up as a wholesale member vs. retail. Feel free to check it out here: http://bit.ly/1GWY9AT
ReplyDeleteoh wow, thanks! i'll be checking it out tonight :-]
